Employed by Braintree District Council to assist with appraisal of landscape and visual issues as part of planning case for proposed major residential development extending from existing west edge of Braintree.
Landscape harms were highlighted by this work and an audit of the associated photomontage visualisations revealed inaccuracies.
The application was refused planning permission, but that decision was subsequently appealed. Then commissioned to give landscape and visual issues evidence at the informal hearing to help defend the Council's refusal of planning permission. The appeal was dismissed quoting landscape and visual harms as a key issue.
